Teacher Spotlight: Candice Jones, Fort Worth Can Academy- Lancaster Avenue

Returning Roadmap to Success teacher Candice Jones teachers 11th and 12th grade credit recovery at Fort Worth Can Academy- Lancaster Avenue. Ms. Jones was nominated to be one of our first teacher spotlights for the 2018-2019 school year by Impact Manager Summerlin Northrup and former Impact Manager (now Data Manager) Celestino Carreón.

Candice Jones has been a strong supporter of Roadmap to Success at the Texans Can Academies since our pilot launch in October of 2016. During visits to Fort Worth, I witnessed Ms. Jones engaging her students in thoughtful discussion, challenging them to think deeply about the content. This past year, she co-taught our program with another teacher, fostering collaboration between two classrooms. -Cel
