A couple of weeks ago, Education Opens Doors was excited to host our first-ever Kendra Gives Back event with Kendra Scott! We weren’t sure what to expect, but we had a wonderful experience. Kendra Scott regularly hosts “Kendra Gives Back” events where they donate a portion of proceeds from the evening to a charity of their choice. All purchases from the evening go towards the event, so it was also a great way for us to meet people who were unfamiliar with EOD! We brought balloons and fliers, Kendra Scott West Village provided the snacks, and thanks to our partnership we raised just over $850.

Here at Education Opens Doors, we have a lot to be thankful for in 2016. We’re excited to be sharing our fifth year of programming with 45 partnerships thus far, and are aiming to reach 8,000 students this year (we’re almost there!). Since our inception, we have been able to reach over 15,000 students with the Roadmap to Success program. We are especially thankful for those like Kendra Scott who have invested their time and money in EOD over the years and have helped us reach those goals. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
