After day 1 of program implementation at Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, here is a snapshot of what we heard:

“The kids were so excited to be learning about this material that they didn’t want to stop to leave class!”

“I learned that there are 2 different tracks for high school today… I didn’t know that before today. I definitely want to be on the distinguished track so I can be ready for college and so I don’t have to spend time and money taking remedial courses and start behind. I really want to be ready for college!”
